How do I add my own Macros?

If you would like to add a new food to your Flexible Dieting, you can easily do so by using the Quick Add feature. All you need is the macronutrient breakdown of the serving you will consume. Once you have this information, you can follow these steps:

  1. Within the Nutrition Zone tab, select Flexible Dieting to display your personal macro breakdown. 

  2. Select the Log Macros button. If you cannot find your item in the Search menu, click the Add Ingredient button at the bottom of the page.

  3. You'll be asked to enter the following information (the * denotes required fields): 

    • Ingredient Name

    • Amount/Quantity (grams or mls)

    • Carbs (grams)*

    • Protein (grams)*

    • Fats (grams)*

    • Fibre (grams)

    • Sugar (grams)

  4. Select Save to record this item to your day

All food items added by THE BOD Community are reviewed by our team on a regular basis for nutritional accuracy and uniqueness before being approved. Ingredients that are submitted, reviewed and approved by THE BOD will then appear in future Flexible Diet searches for the entire BOD Community.
